Physiotherapist - James Woolridge
James joined Beachbox Physiotherapy after graduating from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011 and has worked in several clinics on the peninsula. James has seen a wide range of patients in a variety of settings; working with patients of all ages in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, aged care facilities and private practice clinics. He has also worked with a number of local sports teams – including the Langwarrin and Peninsula Raiders football club.
Since completing his Bachelor James has completed post graduate courses in:
- Dry needling
- Spinal physiotherapy
- Sports physiotherapy
During his time as a physiotherapist, James has developed excellent diagnostic skills and treatment techniques for a vast array of injuries and conditions, and his areas of special interest include:
- Neck & back pain
- Sporting injuries
- Working with patients with persistent pain to improve their overall quality of life
Personal interests: Outside of his physiotherapy career James enjoys fishing, kayaking, golf, cooking and keenly follows a number of sports including football, cricket and basketball.
