Whooping Cough Vaccinations

Vaccination against COVID 19, whooping cough (pertussis) and influenza is strongly recommended during pregnancy to protect pregnant women and their babies against these serious infections. These vaccinations are funded and offered at the clinic.

The following people living in Victoria are also eligible to receive the free vaccine.

• pregnant women from 20 weeks gestation during every pregnancy
• partners of women who are at least 20 weeks pregnant if the partner has not received a pertussis booster in the last ten years
• parents/guardians of babies born on or after 1 June 2015, if their baby is under six months of age and they have not received a pertussis booster in the last ten years.

We also stock private vaccinations for patients who do not meet the eligibility criteria for funded vaccinations.
