Mr Andrew Hone MPsych (Clin), MAPS, FCCLP

Andrew Hone is a registered Clinical Psychologist, Board-approved Supervisor, Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. He completed the Masters of Clinical Psychology at RMIT University and obtained his endorsement in Clinical Psychology following completion of the Clinical Registrar Program.

Andrew has diverse experience in both public and private clinical services. He is passionate about private practice where he provides individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. He combines this with employment at Austin Health in rehabilitation and pain management. Andrew has previously worked in forensic assessment and has a broad professional background that includes business, university teaching, and sports coaching.

Andrew works with all presentations and his professional interests include depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, grief, eating disorders, and chronic pain and illness. Andrew keeps abreast of the latest evidence-based interventions which are tailored to the needs of each client including:

• Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

• Mindfulness-based approaches

• Schema Therapy

• Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
