Stephen McNab is a Chiropractor with special interests in the explanation, treatment options and management of musculoskeletal conditions. He has been in private practice for in excess of 35 years and resides on the Mornington Peninsula. He runs his independent practice McCrae Chiropractic Centre from McCrae Specialist Centre.

Stephen completed his Chiropractic degree in Melbourne, Australia, in 1983. Following graduation, for the next two years, he worked as a locum throughout Victoria including the Bendigo & Ballarat districts, Lilydale and its surroundings and the Mornington Peninsula. He moved permanently to the Mornington Peninsula in 1985 and has been in private practice since then, first at Rye then moving to McCrae in 1991 establishing the McCrae Chiropractic Centre.

In January 2017, Stephen relocated the practice to the McCrae Specialist Centre,where he is currently practicing.

Special Interests

Stephen enjoys explaining the causation and the anatomy of musculoskeletal conditions, especially discussing treatment options and management of the patient’s condition. This interest stems from the firm and committed belief that people’s health is best managed in a multi-disciplined environment involving doctors, specialists and allied health professionals, with inter-professional referral and co-operation being essential for the best outcome for the one that matters, the patient.

In Clinical Practice Stephen Offers

• Physical therapy with heat & massage

• Spinal and joint mobilization if indicated and safe to do so

• Advice on spinal and joint exercises

• Appropriate referral to doctors and other professionals for pain management

• Imaging such as X-Rays and MRI scanning

• Assisted continuing care
