Home Visits

Requests for home or residential visits are assessed by the practice team using our clinical triage protocols to determine urgency and appropriateness. Where required, advice is sought from the patient’s usual general practitioner before scheduling a visit.

Patients experiencing chest pain, severe symptoms, or a life-threatening emergency are advised to call 000 immediately for ambulance assistance.

Home visits may be provided to terminally ill patients and regular patients whose medical condition prevents them from attending the clinic, where it is clinically appropriate and safe to do so.

Home visits are available only to regular patients who live within a 5 km radius of the clinic and are subject to doctor availability.
